DAY
11: KUMASI – KOFORIDUA
After breakfast we shall travel from Kumasi to Koforidua
in the Eastern region of Ghana. We will check into
our hotel on arrival after which we will take a
tour of the beads market in Koforidua at the Jackson
Park which is only on Thursdays.

DAY
12: KOFORIDUA – AKOSOMBO
Depart Koforidua for Akosombo. We will have a guided
tour of the hydro-electric dam on arrival. The Akosombo
dam is situated on the 400km long (North –
South) Volta Lake, one of the largest man made lakes
in the world covering an area of 8502 km square.
Overnight in Akosombo
DAY
13: AKOSOMBO
We will leave our hotel in the morning to join the
Dodi Cruise Ship (A passenger cruise ship) to the
Dodi Island, one of the greatest landmarks in Ghana.
Return to Akosombo late in the afternoon.
Overnight in Akosombo.
DAY
14: AKOSOMBO – ACCRA
Return to Accra in the morning. On arrival we
will visit the Makola market where we will experience
a typical African market atmosphere.
You will be transferred
to the airport in the evening for your flight
back home
